Grilled food and basketball
With a holiday weekend comes much food by the way of the grill. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and steak all found their way to my stomach every day this past Memorial day weekend. Last night I tried something a little different…ribs. For the first time I made ribs with help from Kelly as she was sweet and went out and bought the ribs on last minute notice from me so they could begin cooking immediately. The ribs turned out surprisingly good, I didn’t know what to expect, very tasty though.
Also, congratulations to my basketball partner Darren who together we won the Tuinstra two on two driveway basketball classic on Monday.

Ahhh the memories…
It wasn’t too long ago we were in Hawaii anticipating our wedding, getting married, and then honeymooning. I thought you would like to see some pics from our honeymoon and maybe a couple from before our wedding.

Mother’s Day
This past mother’s day Kelly and I went to her parent’s house for dinner to celebrate mother’s day and a few family birthdays. We had sloppy joe’s at my request which were very tasty, thank you Duane. Some pictures from the day are of Carter James, Carter Louis and I and also of just Kelly and me. Good times with the Carters.

New Grill!
Kelly and I were able to entertain Ben and Jo last night and fire up the new grill. For the evening we had hamburgers, chicken tenders, baked beans, and potato salad. We are happy the weather is finally warming up, let the summer begin.
Also, congrats to our nephew Michael on his 3-3 at the plate t-ball performance! Way to hit kid! In addition, congratulations to Paul Muri and Stacie DeJong on their engagement!
