Fractured

Well, my rotator cuff apparently is fine. The problem with my shoulder is that it’s fractured. I injured it while playing basketball. My team was up 20 points with 2 minutes left and boom, this guy from the other team came out of no where and ran into me hard, really freakin hard. I wasn’t shooting the ball, driving to the hoop or anything like that. I have no idea what set this guy off. Anyway, I ended up fracturing my shoulder which seems to be the best possible thing opposed to a rotator cuff injury. The rotator cuff would have at least required physical therapy or surgery. My current problem just requires time to heal it. I’m bummed to miss the rest of the league seasons but am happy to think of being ok sooner rather than later.

Circled in red is the fracture. The xray technician actually didn’t even notice the fracture. The orthopedic surgeon that I saw noticed it and diagnosed it. He said he was quite surprised to see this type of injury in basketball. Maybe I need to mix in a glass or two of milk or just not play with the guy that hit me???
