The Brown Rut

Well, we got a new couch…and it’s brown. I realize, as I have been told before, that I am in a “bit of a brown rut,” but we just couldn’t resist. It matches our place well and is exactly what we wanted. We love it!

Thanks to Big Mike, we were able to pick it up from the store ourselves and save on some delivery costs. After a grueling trip up the elevator, unwrapping the hundred of yards of plastic from around the couch, and unscrewing a protective wooden frame from the bottom, $60 dollars seems like a drop in the bucket! A big thanks to Big Mike for the use of his truck and services–we couldn’t have done it without you! Here are some pictures of the move.

GR Development – River House

I love development and I especially love seeing all the development going on in GR right now. Rapid Growth is a website that highlights the happenings going on in GR. Andy Dragt, a vlogger, recently made a video for Rapid Growth highlighting River House which is a new high rise condominium building going up in GR. When River House is done it will be the tallest all residential building in the state.
